So Many Changes
Well, we have made it to six weeks. It is weird to think that it has only been six weeks since Keith and I have met our little girl. It feels like it's been way longer and that it was just yesterday I made Keith take me to the hospital 3 times in like 36 hours. What a journey it was being pregnant. I can't say I thoroughly enjoyed it, because there were lots of things about pregnancy that were particularly hard for me. However, there were a few things that I did enjoy and kinda miss now. I miss feeling Beth-Renee move inside my belly. I miss sleeping whenever I wanted. I miss eating whatever I wanted. And that's about it. I don't miss feeling huge and barely being able to get out of bed. Keith found it humorous the way I would roll out of bed cause I couldn't sit up. But now our little girl is six whole weeks old! She is getting so big, and she is soooo smart! Lately, I've been making different noises with my mouth and tongue when I'm holding her, and she will just stare at me with the biggest, cutest eyes and then she will try to copy what I am doing! It's like she's thinking, "How in the world is mom making all of these noises??" It's really fun to watch her smile and almost laugh at Keith and I when she first sees us in the morning, or when she's about to toot. She loves staring at new people who are holding her. And sometimes she will give them a smile as well. Something super new that Beth-Renee has been doing is sucking on this little lamb blanket we have for her. It's one of those like small blankets with some sort of animal head and arms on one corner. This one is pale pink and it has a lamb on it. Well she loves to snuggle with that when she is going to sleep, and she has started sucking on the arms of the lamb. It's so cute, but now her lamby is all crusty and kinda gross looking. I think it's just the cutest thing that she does this to sooth herself. We love our little girl so so much, and we are so excited for all the new things she is learning everyday!
